How does Drop Point Rentals work?
Choose the tote package that best fits your move, select delivery or pickup at checkout, and pack at your own pace. When you're finished, simply return the totes or have us pick them up if delivery service was selected.
How long is the rental?
All standard rentals are 2 weeks.
What if I need more time?
No problem! If you need to keep your rental longer than the standard 2-week rental period, simply contact us before your scheduled return date. If the equipment is available, we'll extend your rental and send you an invoice for the additional rental period.
What's included with my rental?
Every tote rental includes:
- Durable reusable moving totes
- One moving dolly for every 16 totes rented
Packing blankets, hand trucks, and appliance hand trucks are available as optional add-ons.
Do you deliver?
Yes!
- Free delivery within Hastings
- $25 delivery within approximately 20 miles of Hastings
- Outside 20 miles? You can still rent! Free pickup and return are available from our Hastings location.
Can I pick up my rental?
Absolutely! Pickup and return at our Hastings location are always free.
Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?
Not necessarily. As long as we have clear instructions and safe access to the delivery or pickup location, we can complete the service without you being present.
What happens if I return my rental late?
Additional weekly rental charges may apply until all rented equipment has been returned.
What if a tote gets damaged?
Normal wear and tear is expected. Customers are responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment beyond normal use. Replacement fees are listed in our Terms & Conditions.
Do I need to clean the totes before returning them?
Just empty the totes and return them reasonably clean. Equipment returned with excessive dirt, paint, chemicals, adhesives, concrete, or other contamination may be subject to cleaning or replacement charges.
Are your totes weather resistant?
Yes! Our heavy-duty reusable plastic totes help protect your belongings from rain, moisture, dust, and crushing far better than cardboard boxes.
Can I move heavy items in the totes?
Yes, but for safety we recommend keeping each tote at a comfortable lifting weight. Extremely heavy items such as concrete, bricks, or similar materials should not be placed in the totes.
How many totes do I need?
Our general recommendations are:
- 16 Totes: Apartment or small move
- 32 Totes: Typical 2–3 bedroom home
- 48 Totes: Larger family home
- 64 Totes: Large homes or major moves

Do you rent moving equipment?
Yes! We also offer:
- Packing blankets

Additional rental equipment may be added in the future.
Why rent reusable totes instead of cardboard boxes?
Reusable totes are:
- Stronger than cardboard boxes
- Stack securely
- Water resistant
- Faster to pack
- No tape required
- Better for the environment
Most customers find they save time, reduce waste, and make moving much easier.
